FREDDIE MERCURY

He was a famous British national who was born in Zanzibar

on an island near Tanzania and died at the

age of 45 of a pneumonia that was complicated because he suffered from AIDS.

Was singer, songwriter, record producer, and lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. Regarded as one of the greatest lead singers in the history of rock music, he was known for his flamboyant stage persona and fouroctave vocal range.

Freddie had an exceptional and distinctive voice when speaking his voice was in a baritone range and usually sang in the tenor register. He was able to employ technical subharmonics that few people can use even when speaking and also said he never received singing lessons.

As a composer he was noted for his wide range of genres of his works, which includes, among other styles, rockabilly, progressive rock, heavy metal, gospel and disco. In his concerts he had a unique theatrical style since he was a singer who enchants his audience for his extravagance. He was a great pianist and also played the guitar.

I think Freddie was a character of great admiration since his style is unique and also was a versatile person that his story was taken to the cinema....
