INTRODUCTION The dictionary version of leadership is "leading a group of people or an organisation," but it's not as easy as that. Leaders at any level of the company are an important part of the overall success of the corporation. Leadership involves making and preparing, securing money and searching for and improving mistakes. Leadership is about inspiring others to work together and collaborate with themselves and in certain situations, with other teams to accomplish a certain objective. Leadership is the power that leaders have over their employees. It convinces others to support and do what they are calling for. Influence is important for leadership, and without it, leaders cannot be succeed. It is also a central element of authority and power. The characteristics and acts that make a person successful as a leader are leadership behaviour. This behaviour is the mechanism by which an individual may guide, direct and influence others' work to achieve specific objectives. To maximise the productivity of those around them, these actions and techniques can be taught. The leader that I choose for this assignment is Elon Musk, a South African-born American entrepreneur is co-founder of PayPal and created SpaceX, a manufacturer of launch vehicles and spacecraft. He was also one of the first major investors in the electric car maker Tesla, as well as the chief executive officer of it. Elon Musk is a genius, and he sincerely believes in every business concept that he puts his mind to himself. Since he has such a strong vision, he is not afraid to tackle the obstacles that others may find difficult to overcome.

LEADER’S TRAITS AND SKILLS Entrepreneurial Spirit Entrepreneurial spirit can be define as embodies dedication, passion, measured risk-taking and self-improvement ability. In the face of hardship and to overcome barriers, show perseverance. He has benefited from negative encounters. It relies on trustworthy individuals, thereby illustrating the ability to be critical thinkers in the presence of difficulty and risktaking. The explanation why Elon Musk is an outstanding example of a spirit of creativity is his ability to solve discontent. During his career, he had a number of difficulties, ranging from mechanical problems in his Tesla brand to rocket crashes. SpaceX has nearly declared bankruptcy. What is really great about Musk is that he never lets it stop him from battling and getting through it. He sees these as experiments that haven't worked out, and he just goes on to the next step. Passion for Innovation Defining a leader with a passion for innovation is the founder of a revolutionary technology or innovation. Recognizes the corporate responsibility to predict and embrace changes in the market environment by continuous improvement in all parts of the organization. Produces an innovative community. Inspires others instead of sticking with a day-late concept to keep up with the speed of transition. Many individuals would see Musk as one of the most innovative entrepreneur of our era. What's great about him is that he seems to feel that there is an invention to fix any problems that occur. He sees the challenges as opportunities, and that's what made him successful.

LEADER’S BEHAVIOUR Task Oriented Style

1. Strategic Direction - This means that he can create something and transform concept into business practise. Builds and rebuilds the team's dedication to common goals. Demonstrates entrepreneurial wisdom by developing and surrounding strategic collaborations with innovative individuals, teams, the Board of Directors and a range of members to ensure success for all those involved in the journey. Musk takes a scientific approach to team building, one that focuses on recognising their strengths and abilities, and directs them to action.

2. Hard and Characteristic Working Ethics - Elon Musk is a very hard-working entrepreneur who has been working for over 100 hours a week and has been productive for so many years.. He may even be portrayed as the company's hardest working employee, setting standards to follow and implement for his colleagues. Since the field of work lies within his sphere of interests, when it comes to learning and execution, he enjoys it at every moment and bit.

Relationship Oriented Style 1. Strong Faith in Himself and His Team - Undoubtedly, Musk has a deep confidence in

both his own capabilities and the possibilities element of his team. He does not hesitate to invest a lot of money on his company unless he is fully aware of the anticipated end-results, because he has so much confidence in his team. It is so important to retain clarity of uncertainty in any multi-billion business. In his leadership, Musk inspires all his companies to create a positive and comprehensive environment.

LEADER’S POWER Expert power Elon Musk has expert leadership power the fact that he have Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in physics, Bachelor Degree in economics and PhD in energy physics, with advanced expertise in physics, self-taught engineering as well as business and social experiences makes Musk very adept to lead his organisations. He did write PayPal, so he has done some of his more famous projects on himself. He also involve himself in a lot of the high level engineering stuff along with he’s engineering team in companies major project such in making of Tesla electric car prototype. With Tesla Motors finally making money, and SpaceX receiving additional contracts, as long as Musk can continue to deliver on his promises he should continue to be successful. Charismatic power Elon Musk has charismatic power he uses his ability to influence individuals and organisations, including governments, to alter their view of space travel. Instead of concentrating on what we should do, he needs people to look at what we're supposed to do. Elon Musk works to improve the actions and perceptions of innovators, engineers and investors. The main elements of transformative leadership is creating a vision-and getting more people not only to believe in it but to inspire enough to make it a reality. "You've got to have a very compelling goal for the company," Musk said. "If you put yourself in the shoes of

someone who's talented at world level, they have to believe that there's a potential for a great result and believe in the leader of the company that you're the right guy to work with."

CONCLUSION In conclusion, Elon Musk is a great leader he start everything from scratch to multibillion dollar companies that he has now. He is one of the greatest innovators the world has ever seen. What else can I can say about the man who founded companies like PayPal, Tesla & SpaceX. What I learnt from him is if you want to achieve something, you should put every effort into it to follow your dreams. Elon wanted to get rid of the idea that electric cars were inefficient and bad, so he risked failure to try to make that possible. People called him crazy for doing this. But he didn’t listen to any of them. He stuck to his plans and it paid off. Look at him now, he is one of the greatest innovators, and has inspired millions. So don’t be afraid to be different than others, just trust yourself. Leader like that was not born naturally, he had to learn leadership skills through trial and error along with his great will he have to achieve his great dream.
