Introduction The leadership quality is essential while grasping a position of honor within an organisation. In this sense, it is required to understand the aspects of leadership in order to recognise true leaders. Jeffri Salim Davidson, the CEO of Sime Darby, is considered to be one of the best leaders within Asia. He is recognised for his excellent leadership aspects and his futuristic insight for the growth of the organisation (Flower, 2018). In this paper the salient discussion will be established on the leadership qualities and aspects of Jeffri Selim Davidson, who is the CEO of Sime Darby.

Importance of Leadership Qualities within an Organisation The Leadership qualities are essential to ensure the proper growth of an organisation. The Aspects of proper leadership qualities adhere to the fulfilment of the strategies and objectives of the company. The functional factors of a CEO and leader is to provide proper decisions within the organisation and ensure the establishment of every functional part of the organisation. The Leaders are considered as the main image of the organisation which is recognised by every consumer (AI, 2020). The stakeholders, consumers, employees and media look up to the CEO to follow their path within the organisation and acquire proper information.

About Jeffri Salim Davidson Jeffri Salim Davidson began his career in the year 1986, with Coopers and Laybrands of United Kingdom. He had acquired his education from London and he has been considered as the most promising Malaysian leader of Asia. Jeffri Salim Davidson first joined Sime Darby in the years of 1992, as an accountant and eventually enhanced his leadership quality, through solidifying his

position within the organisation (Dato' Jeffri Salim Davidson 2021). He has been responsible for various financial decisions of Sime Darby and established a strong leadership trait within the organisation. Significantly, in 2004 Jeffri returned to Sime Darby as a Finance Director of Tractor Malaysia, and initiated various business strategies to infuse growth within the organisation. A that point he was the sole decision maker of the financial functional part of China, Singapore and Malaysia. He was later posted in China and his leadership strategies enhanced the engineering part of the Sime Darby China and eventually positioned its brand name to the top position. Since 2014, Jeffri is responsible for managing the power system management of Sime Darby which incorporates the aspects of Oil, gas and other power functions (AI, 2020). It is essential to recognise his significant approach of leadership strategy, which enhanced the prospect of the organisation visibly.

Leadership Qualities of Jeffri Salim Davidson Jeffri Salim Davidson, exclusively adheres to Strategic Leadership qualities, as he significantly brought change within the organisation without hampering its sentimental core values. Since his deputation within China region as the major decision-making authority, who brought stability within the distribution aspects of the company and enhanced its business position significantly (Dato' Jeffri Salim Davidson 2021). He is considered to be the most emerging leader in the Asia.

Skills and Traits His honesty towards the company is really appreciating. He tried diligently to increase the business prospect of Sime Darby within China, Singapore and Malaysia. It has been observed that previously he had exhibited his excellent skill in making decision in major financial transformation

within the company (Flower, 2018). He is a skilled finance strategy maker and he has ability to serve dedicatedly. His task orientation ability is excellent as he believes in strategic leadership.

Task Orientation and Leadership Orientation The strategic leadership quality exclusively focuses on the determining every possible change that may occur and prepare proper strategies to align the objective of the organisation. It is required to acknowledge that the role of a leader or a CEO always involves ample responsibilities with proper understanding of the organisational goals (Flower, 2018). Strategic leadership believes in changes of the image through preserving the core values of the organisation. A strategic leader is always quite flexible to his approach towards the decision making and totally engrossed to his responsibilities. These qualities are quite present in Jeffri and his open approach to achieve the goals of the company is magnificant (AI, 2020). His strategic leadership aspects produced the best financial strategies for this company which has brought financial stability and increase the business prospects of the company.

Motivation and Integrity During the period of Covid 19, Jeffri exclusively focused on positioning stability within the organisation and encouraged every employee to adhere to the, main objective of the company. He encouraged to resume stability rather than hoping for big growth. It has been observed that during the pandemic period Asian market had observed massive fall in the economic stage. Jeffri, focused on acquiring proper knowledge during the pandemic situation to position visible stability within Sime Darby (Dato' Jeffri Salim Davidson 2021). In this sense, his leadership quality can define as exceptionally good and he tries to incorporate his experience to gather insight for the better prospect for the company. He has established a good example of leadership quality for the Asian

as he is a Malaysian and he believes in flexible approach to the leadership functionality. His magnificent contribution as a finance director within this organisation has exhibited the prospects of growth and stability in the organisation since 2016 (AI, 2020). Since this pandemic his aim is to reduce financial loss of the company and infuse stability. His leadership quality can encourage any employees as he is considered to be one of the successful leaders from Malaysia.

Conclusion The leadership qualities of Jeffri Salim Davidson exclusively incorporate all the best qualities a strategic leader should have. His financial strategies to infuse growth within the company has brought significant change to the organisation. It is required to understand that the position of a CEO is always significant as it is considered as the main image of the organisation. His extra ordinary strategy making ability and his ability to handle any situation has enhanced the business prospect of Sime Darby within the countries like, Singapore, Malaysia and China. His endless effort to establish the company’s image and situation and enhance the economic prospect of the company is evident. Jeffri Salim Davidson is considered to the most promising leader of the Asian country and his achievements are exceptionally noticeable. He is recognised as the most promising face of Asia through his brilliant leadership qualities.
