Galileo Galilei was born on February 15, 1564 in Pisa, Italy.

 

He died on January 8, 1642



Interesting facts Back then Everybody thought that the Sun and all the planets revolved around the Earth.



Basic information Galileo was a physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher.



Occupation Galileo's father was Vincenzo Galilei and his mother was Giulia degli Ammannati.



He also had five siblings. His two brothers were Michelangelo and Benedetto. His three sisters were Livia, Virginia, and one whose name is not recorded.



Important family members Vincenzo Galilei We cannot teach people anything; we can only help them discover it themselves.
