Myli’s Gym Goals Team: As a team, I think we can work on cheering for other people more. When I compete, I find it comforting when I hear other people cheering me on. When other people are supporting me, it makes me more motivated.

My goal: My main goal for this season is to become a junior elite. In order to do this, I need to set my priorities straight and work as hard as I can. For this, I also need to be prepared for qualifiers and camps. I will make sure that I have all the information of when the camps and qualifiers are to remind myself of what I have to accomplish.

Bars: Stalder full, maloney, pak, chow half, jaeger, double lay dismount. My goal for bars this upcoming season is to become more consistent with my routine before I compete. Last year I was only able to add the jaeger into my routine once, so this year I am excited to add it in and compete it.

Beam: Front tuck mount, switch leap switch half, front aerial split back tuck back handspring swing down, triple wolf turn, front handspring front tuck, switch ring, back tuck, side aerial, and round o double pike dismount. I am adding many new skills in my beam routine this year, so I have to stay focused every day during practice so I become more consistent at it. My front-handspring front tuck connection is one of the harder skills in my routine, so one of my main goals for beam is to be able to land it at every competition. In order to do that, I will take every turn with the best of my ability so I have a higher chance of making this skill confidently at competitions.

Floor: Full in, triple, triple wolf turn, switch half, 1 ½ full, switch ring tour jete half, and double pike(/tuck, but probably double pike). Since I will be having four passes this year instead of three, I have to focus on my cardio/endurance. To be able to complete each pass successfully, I need a lot of energy. In order to make myself strong enough, I will make sure my conditioning involves a lot for my cardio. Also, I will do many repetitions of my tumbling passes so they become a little easier to incorporate into my routine.

Vault: Compete full consistently, and get double full onto the red mat consistently

My main issue last year with vault was landing short on my full and being inconsistent with my landings, and also being high on the table. This year, I want to focus on getting onto the table better, and landing all my vaults at competition. For double, if I can get on and o the table at the right time the landing will be easy, and if I keep practicing I will be more consistent with my landings....
