GOOD EATS - LOG OF CLAIMS: The management at Good Eats seeks to establish an enterprise agreement called the ‘Good Eats Enterprise Agreement’ in order to replace the Hospitality Industry General Award and this document serves as the Log of Claims in order to initiate the enterprise bargaining. On Good Eats behalf, management has notified staff of the right to be represented by a bargaining representative during the bargaining of this enterprise agreement in accordance with s173 of the Fair Work Act (2009). Good Eats seeks: 5. Hours of Work and Related Matters Part 5.1 Rostering Arrangements 5.1.1 Rosters will be posted at least 7 days in advance of the required working week. 5.2 Full-Time Employees 5.2.1 Full-time employees must work on an average minimum of 38 ordinary hours per week. This will be agreed upon with the employer and the full-time employee. 5.2.2 The bare minimum number of ordinary hours to be worked in one day is 6 hours (excluding any meal breaks). 5.2.3 The maximum number of ordinary hours to be worked in one day is 11.5 hours (excluding any meal breaks). 5.2.4 An employee must not be rostered on to work more than 10 consecutive days without a rostered day off. 5.3 Part-Time Employees 5.3.1 The bare minimum number of ordinary hours that may be worked in one day is 3 hours (excluding meal breaks). 5.3.2 The maximum number of ordinary hours to be worked in one day is 11.5 hours (excluding any meal breaks). 5.4 Casual Employees 5.4.1 The bare minimum number of ordinary hours that may be worked in one day is 3 hours (excluding meal breaks). 5.4.2 The maximum number of ordinary hours to be worked in one day is 11.5 hours (excluding any meal breaks). 5.5 Frequency of Breaks 5.5.1 If an employee works the following number of hours in one shift, they are entitled to the following breaks specified in Table 1.

6. Leave and Public Holidays 6.1 Leave 6.1.1 The employees are entitled to annual leave, long service leave, paid sick (personal) leave or carer’s leave, compassionate leave and parental leave. 6.1.2 Full-time employees are entitled to 152 hours (4 weeks) of annual leave per annum where each full leave day equates to 7.6 working hours. 6.2 Public Holidays 6.2.1 The declared public holidays may include, but are not limited to Labour Day, Australia Day, New Year’s Day, Anzac Day, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Queen’s Birthday, Melbourne Cup Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. 6.2.2 Full-time employees and part-time employees are entitled to be absent from their employment on a public holiday, unless agreed otherwise. 6.2.3 Employees are entitled to public holiday loadings if worked on the day of a public holiday. 6.2.4 For any work done on a public holiday, an employee is entitled to be paid double time. 7. Industry Specific Provisions 7.1 Deductions for Breakages or Cashiering Underings 7.1.1 In the act of misconduct, the employer can deduct an appropriate sum from the wages of the employee if intent was purposeful. 7.2 Deductions for employees under 18 years of age 7.2.1 The employer must not make any deductions from the wages of an employee who is under 18 years of age. 7.3 Deductions for provision of employee meals

7.3.1 An employer may deduct an amount from an employee’s wages for providing the employee with a meal if the meal is provided during the employees normal working hours 7.3.2 An employer may deduct an amount from an employee’s wages for providing the employee with a meal if the employee has been informed and consented that their wages will be deducted. 7.3.3 The employer will deduct an amount based upon the type of meal that the employee consumes.
