1. Which among the three female leads can you identify yourself with? -

I can see myself to Katherine Coleman Goble Johnson because she is very passionate person and me as well, I am very passionate of what I’m doing right now even if there’s a burden for me to give up I still manage to conquer it, like Katherine Johnson she comes up against racism more than once but she maintains her good personality and manage to charm everyone she comes into contact with.

2. Which struggle(s) in the story can you closely relate and how did you cope with it? -

When Mary Jackson enrolled for Engineering class and they want her to get segregated because she is only the woman and black in the class. Luckily, she did not get affected to those people telling her that she cannot make it she still manage and pursue her degree. She became the first black woman engineer in the research center at Langley. Through this scenario, for me, I will do the same thing as Mary Jackson did. Prove to them that they are wrong and you can do it no matter what. Despite of this situation, it must to fight for your rights and to the right thing to do.

3. Assuming you’ve really watched and understood the movie, what scenario is you favorite? Why? -

When Katherine speak up to her colleagues about the discrimination they having through. I like how the way she expresses her action during that scenario and later on the CEO of the company realize he must do something to end the stigma for the black people working their company. He destroys the signage in the comfort room and Katherine saw it as well as her fellow black people. Through that scenario they feel that it going to end up the discrimination towards them.

4. After watching the movie, what is your take when Mr. Zielinski said “living the impossible?” -

It’s like challenging your own self and testing yourself beyond your limitation. For example, when pursing my degree here at CEU Makati as a medical technologist this will be a whole different and new experience to me. If I followed others solely, then I would be living their lives, and not my own. Authenticity means living your own unique brand. Your brand is yours alone. Follow others the way you've been taught, and you'll be forever escaping who you are. There is no better time than now, to become better, to become the greatest version imaginable of yourself. You are the one you have been looking for outside of yourself. I believe that nobody has achieved great things by thinking small about themselves. They've challenged the status quo, pushed beyond boundary and often shocked society with their bold and unlimited beliefs.

5. Do you think it is possible for you to become like Katherine Goble Johnson? If yes, what are you actions in becoming like her? If no, explain. -

Yes, as long as you believe in yourself. You do not judge other people definitely you can be Katherine Goble Johnson. I think that in becoming like her you have to be passionate of what you are doing because that is one factor for being successful when it comes to life. Ignore those people thinking that you cannot do such thing because of your race and color. Always be humble and dedicated for the things you’re going though.

6. Why do you think the movie is titled “Hidden Figures”? -

For me, I think that the movie titled “Hidden Figures” because behind those hidden figures each of them has a story of struggle and willpower but not as individually glory. Through the hidden figures is also present that they can do such thing that the racist and sexist people cannot see, they just know your physical characteristics, your name but your story. As they say, don’t judge the book by its cover.

7. What is your understanding with the phrase “look beyond the numbers? -

For me, it’s the new trends that can also be revealed. Understanding what numbers mean can unveil new ideas and strategies to build on and execute. I find numbers can not only tell what happened, but quite possibly predict future trends and opportunities. It’s this kind of information that may prove the most valuable to an organization when given the right attention and perspective....
