Historical Background of Nutella
Historical Background of Nutella
Every year since 5 February 2007, Nutella has a day dedicated for all its fans to celebrate the beloved and classic breakfast spread....
Historical Background of Nutella Nutella spread was initially created as a solution for the shortage of cocoa supplies in 1946 following the World War II ( Nutella: A Story of Love and Passion 2021). Ferrero made the ‘Giandujot’ paste out of hazelnuts, sugar and small bit of rare cocoa and moulded it into a loaf. The ‘Giandujot’ paste was then developed into ‘SuperCrema’ (the predecessor to Nutella) that could be spread easily.
In 1964, Nutella, the first-ever jar of hazelnut and cocoa cream with improved recipe, was created (Nutella: A Story of Love and Passion 2021). The spread was officially launched in the European market in the following year and slowly expanded to countries across the globe with great success (Nutella: A Story of Love and Passion 2021). Every year since 5 February 2007, Nutella has a day dedicated for all its fans to celebrate the beloved and classic breakfast spread. Nutella also opened its first Nutella Café in Chicago on 31 May 2017 for all Nutella lovers to enjoy a wide menu of delicious recipes made using the spread (Nutella: A Story of Love and Passion 2021)....
