HE 1: HOUSEHOLD RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Course Description:

This course covers management principles applied at home. It deals with creating awareness among the students regarding maximum utilization of resources, in order to achieve maximum goal with in the given time period among the family. The goals are focused on structuring the concept of the topic in an understandable format that allows students and instructors to apply both knowledge and theory to the study of how families manage their resources for both survival and fulfillment. Multiple perspectives are used to broaden the base of understanding in a contemporary environment. This is for BTLED HE 1 st year students.

Course Objectives:

To educate student about management in the family as well as in other sphere of life.  Understand that family resource management is a process that requires decision-making and evaluation skills.  Become familiar with the factors that impact the development, maintenance, and changing of personal and family value sets over time.  Understand the connections between management and family choices.  To make student aware about maximum utilization of their resources to meet their goals.
