Abstract This paper will focus on the Dell Interactive Touch Monitor in several aspects. Developing has become a trend in all fields including technology companies. Dell also developing their technology, especially, their interactive touch monitors – Dell 86 4K Interactive Touch Monitor: C8621QT – which offers more benefits to the users. Advantages such as easy to use, convenience and save space come along with Dell 86 4K Interactive Touch Monitor: C8621QT. Dell’s interactive touch monitor aim to make sure the customers are satisfied with their work using the interactive touch monitor by the company. For that reason, they provide Dell 86 4K Interactive Touch Monitor: C8621QT with more beneficial use than other interactive touch monitor.

Introductions The product we choose is Dell Interactive touch monitor which is 86 4K Interactive Touch Monitor C8621QT. Dell is an American multinational computer technology company that develops, sells, repairs, and supports computers and related products and services, and is owned by its parent company of Dell Technologies. Founded in 1984 by Michael Dell, the company is one of the largest technology corporations in the world, employing more than 165,000 people in the U.S. and around the world Interactive displays, also referred to as touch screen displays or interactive touch screens, are often large, wall or cart mounted displays. These systems allow users to manipulate data in a hands-on environment and engage with content like never before. Nowadays, many technology companies compete in advancing their technology functions. Therefore, Dell has created a touch screen technology or known as Dell interactive Touch Monitor among them are the 86 4K Interactive Touch Monitor C8621QT is a 75-inch monitor with 20finger touch support. It’s mounted on a wall or placed on a stand at the front of an office or a classroom. The Dell C8621QT is a computer display equipped with an 85.6 inch 4K panel packing 3,840 x 2,160 pixel touchscreen LCD. The main Dell C8621QT specifications include response speed of 8 ms, a brightness of 350 cd / square m, a contrast ratio of 1,200: 1, and a viewing angle of 179 ° vertically and 178 ° horizontally.And The interface selection of Dell C8621QT computer monitor includes HDMI 2.0 x 4, DisplayPort 1.2, USB Type-C, USB 3.1 x 6 (including 3 upstream), USB (only for charging), Ethernet, RS232, etc. It also has a 20W + 20W speaker.And this product launch on march 2020.

Then, the Turbo PC, which sold for $795 in 1985, was the company's first self-designed computer. PC's Limited marketed its systems for sale directly to customers in national computer magazines and custom assembled each order according to a menu of choices. In its first year of service, the company made more than $73 million in revenue. Other than that, Britannica.com state that advertisements and mail-order catalogues were used to sell the company's goods at first. Dell was able to sell high-quality PCs at affordable prices by avoiding the costs associated with conventional retail markets. Dell prioritized customer care, sending technicians to service PCs, and instituting a risk-free return policy. This business model worked, and the company rapidly expanded, growing into new markets around the world. In 1988, the company was renamed Dell Computer Corporation and went public. In addition, the 316LT, Dell's first notebook computer, was published in 1989. The advances in Dell's mobile technology dominated the following years. Dell released the first color notebook computer in 1991, and it was the first company to sell long-lasting lithium-ion batteries in 1994.Dell started selling PCs online in 1996, and they have used the Internet for customer service. Dell overtook Compaq Computer Corporation as the largest PC seller in the United States in 1999 thanks to online sales. Last but not least, Dell extended its product range in the early twenty-first century to include televisions, digital cameras, and a number of computer-related products. The company was renamed Dell Inc. in 2003 to reflect its expansion into the wider consumer electronics industry. Dell’s market dominance started to wane, and the company was acquired for $25 billion by 3

Michael Dell and the private equity group Silver Lake Partners in 2013. In 2016, the company and an investment fund bought EMC, a data storage company based in the United States. The $60 billion deal was the biggest technology acquisition in history.

Use/Functions of the technology

It is a useful alternative to a mouse or keyboard for navigating a GUI (graphical user interface). First of all, the main function of Dell interactive touch is tap. A single finger tap or click on the screen opens an app or selects an item. When compared to a typical machine, a touch corresponds to a mouse click. You can write or draw in real time with virtually no latency, whether you use your fingers, palm, or stylus. And, since the touch functionality is compatible with most industry-standard applications (as well as the included FlatFrog software), it fits into your workflow seamlessly.

Then, the function of double tap which it is depending on where it is used because a double tap may have a variety of functions. In a browser, for example, double tapping the screen zooms the view to the center of the tap spot. In a text editor, double tapping selects a word or a group of terms. Other than that, touch and hold allow touching a touch screen and keeping your finger there selects or highlights an item. You might, for example, touch and hold an icon and then move it to a different location on the screen. Lastly, swipe will help with swiping your finger over the screen changes pages or scrolls in a specific direction. For example, scrolling the screen down requires pressing your finger at the bottom of the screen and quickly dragging it up (swiping). Finally, drag will allow you to "pull" a movable object, such as an icon, by pressing and holding your finger on it and dragging it to a new spot. The same gesture, used with text, helps you to highlight text. When you are finished moving or highlighting, raise your finger.

Tools/Gadgets Used by the Technology Dell Interactive Touch Monitors have few versions that have different sizes, features or/and functions. As for Dell 86 4k Interactive Touch Monitors – C8621QT have a tools that make it easy to be manage which are RS232, RJ45, HDMI CEC ports and TCP/IP command set. RS232 is a standard protocol which used to connect the computers with its peripheral devices to allow data to be transfer. Meanwhile, RJ 45 is connector for Ethernet cables and networks which commonly used. HDMI CEC or consumer electronics control is a feature in a HDMI which allows HDMI devices to be controlled only using one remote control. Other cables included are SuperSpeed USB cable, DisplayPort cable, USB-C cable and as mentioned, HDMI cable.

This LED-backlit LCD flat panel display with touch screen are provided with Crestron RoomView, security lock slot as well as InGlass touch technology. There are also media players which have four USB ports to connect Dell Interactive Touch Monitors with other devices. Other than that is the audio system with 20 watt power for each one of two speakers in the technology.

Humans have the privilege of living in a time where science and technology can help Humans, make life easier, and rethink how to live daily life. The technologies we have encountered and used to use have paved the way for us to innovate further, and this list of current and future technologies certainly has the potential to further change our lives. So do Dell. Last September 2020, Dell President Michael Dell declared that he would be taking his namesake organization which he established as an undergrad 29 years prior private. He planned to go back to their roots and more focus on entrepreneurial spirit which is the one that make Del company grow faster and became successful companies in the history. This idea is brilliant because it highlights and tells the Dell's ability to recognize the changes. In this case the PC market will accept them, and find a solution to remain competitive among other brands. Instead of chasing a dying dream, Dell wants to focus his company on areas of growth, including cloud computing, Big Data, security software, and mobile. Its future is in the services business. Technology companies like Dell, need’s is even more pressing since changes in technology are, in themselves, leading to shifts in customer expectations. Well aware of this, Dell is looking ahead to prepare for its customers for years ahead. There are few things that they have been highlighted for their future planning. Includingdifferentiating with service. To stay ahead of customer expectations, Dell has made changes to its support delivery, introducing new customer interaction touch-points. Schmitt had mention that the customer of year’s ahead especially younger ones, will expect "non-touch" service, allowing them to get help with minimal human interaction.
