The teacher will show an example of the skill sets. This segment is teacher directed and this is most commonly used in a class. Didactic questioning, explicit teaching, practice and drill, demonstrations, etc. are included and very valuable and have the greatest impact when teaching. By having direct instruction strategies, it gives the student the knowledge they will need while concurrently developing step-bystep skills. This is very beneficial for hearing and visual learners. This is ant instructional strategy in which is often used during organized the inquiry process.

A music teacher will demonstrate an instrument in class in order to learn a new skill set. By doing this, the teacher will have shown the students how to handle, hold, and use that instrument. It will help the students identify what they should be listening for.

Supporting Diverse Needs of Students (ie. ELL, gifted, Students with Exceptionalities, etc). There are many ways in which a teacher can support the needs of their diverse students. For example: a student that is blind can hold the instrument while the teacher instructs and moves the student’s hands over the keys in order to properly understand the instruments. The student will still be able to listen to the sounds and notes they should be making.

Concept Development

Vocabulary Acquisition

This is based off the investigation of Jacqueline Goodnow, George Austin, and Jerome Bruner which involved the concerned and the process of individual calorized date and attain concepts (Pearson, 2015). With concept realization, students’ study to find the qualities of a group category that the teacher has put together by linking examples with groups that have examples with the groups that have the attributes of the concept and ones that don’t. The purpose of this activity is to simplify ideas and introduce aspects of content. Being able to teach students the concept, the main concept what it is, and the overview. What they must have is the simple understanding in order to comprehend and make some sense of the world.

particular style and definition, the teacher should instead give the students a style which is yes or no. The class then goes over which samples goes into the yes and which ones goes into the noes. After they have done that, the class will work to make definitions or write down a list of yes examples. After they are finished the students will separate the samples into no or yes columns. This should assist them by giving them a clear impression of the type of art they should be working on.

level in order for them to fully grasp what is being taught. For the students who are in the gifted program, challenge them by giving them questions that will make them think more and help them challenge that part of that brain.

What the teacher is instruction them on is the idea of comparing different sizes. The teacher will show 3 different pictures and ask which one is the biggest, medium, and smallest? The students will line up the photos biggest to smallest. To further continue the lesson, the teacher will hand out multiple sets of items and the students will put them in order like stated previously. For the students that need a little extra help, the teacher can work with each of them one on one to help them further understand what is being asked of them. pronunciation. What this involves is the teacher helping them break down the words into syllables, especially for the younger students.

and look for a specific word. Once the students have finished locating the words, the whole class will discuss the sentences that were created by the class.

This is a way to approach organize the classroom in an educational way. It should be designed like this in order for the students to have better social and academic learning experiences. Cooperative learning can also be done by teaching how to work within a group, a partner, or by themselves in positive ways. This teaching approach would involve inspired learning with questions that would engage the students. This would help them to be able to acquire new knowledge and understandings. This would help each child become selfdirected learners.

An activity the teacher can do with the class is stump your partner. The class are to create a question from the topic that is being taught. Then they are to ask their partner their question in order to see if they can stump them (Cornell University, 2019).

Talking about pollution is something that will help in this section. Talk to them about what it is and how it makes an impact on the planet. After the lesson, the students can come up with ways in order to better the environment in their day to day activates. The students can choose a type of pollution (water, air, land) and the students can come up with reasonable ways to help solve these (Watanabe-Crockett, 2019).

should also clearly pronounce words when speaking the students. Also, when possible, work with the students who need extra help one on one in order to make sure they understand. The students that have social anxiety, they can work with one person instead of a bigger group. This may give them the opportunity to become calm and be able to have a clear mind to do what is being asked of them.

Go in-depth on the topic, show video and examples so they can have some grasp of what pollution is. Show examples on each section and how they all work to either help or hurt the planet.

Part 2: Application Grade Level: Kinder

Academic Standard: ELA Skill and Knowledge

Learning Objective: Each student will have the competence to respond to questions, ask questions, differentiate the difference between asking a question and saying a statement, have the capability to work with peers, be able to comprehend parts of a plant/tree, and know the life cycle of a plant. Instructional Model/Strategy 1:

Explanation: The teacher will demonstrate how to ask a question. Then what is a question and after, explain what the difference between a statement and a question is. Rationale: The reason it is important that the student learns this at this grade level in this way, so they are able to learn it step by step and have a better understanding of the material.

Instructional Model/Strategy 2:

Explanation: While the activity is being taught, new words are being introduced for them to learn. The teacher will say the word, the students will repeat the teacher, and after the teacher and students do this a couple times, the teacher will explain what that word means. Rationale: The purpose of this is to help mature phonemic awareness, pronunciation, and help multiply their vocabulary.

Instructional Model/Strategy 3:

Explanation: While working on the life cycle of a plant, the teacher can prompt the students to ask questions and encourage them to talk to their peers about what they are learning. Rationale: With having them speak to the teacher and their classmates, it may help with selfdirected learning.
