Instructions for Installing and Accessing HyperSizer A tutorial video that is supplementary to these instructions is provided.

1. First check the systems requirements and make sure that HyperSizer is compatible with your computer. Information on this can be found in the following link: https://hypersizer.com/help_7.3/#Install/inssys_requirements.php%3FTocPath%3DInstallation%2520%2526%2520Licensing%7C___ __1 You can check the specifications of your computer by going to Start (Bottom left corner of you computer) – Settings – System – About.

2. Next, check if you have Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client installed on your computer. If it is not, go to the following link for instructions on how to install, set up and use this app. This app is needed to access HyperSizer once it is installed. https://ucf.servicenow.com/ucfit?id=kb_article&sys_id=ff89f4764f45e200be64f0318110c763

4. After you click on the “Download” button, you will see a warning message at the bottom of your screen. Click on the triple dots next to this message, and then click “Keep”. You will be taken to another webpage.

5. In this new webpage, a pop-up message will appear that says “This app might harm your device”. Within this message, click on the drop down arrow next to “Show more”. Next, click on “Keep anyway”. Download of the Installer will then resume.

6. Once download is complete, go to the Downloads folder on your computer. Double click on the Installer.

7. The “InstallShield Wizard for HyperSizer MSI” window will open. Follow the instructions in this window to initiate installation of HyperSizer.

8. Once installation is complete, you will see two apps: HyperSizer Pro and HyperSizer Express. 9. Open the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client app. Enter the link: ucfvpn1.vpn.ucf.edu 10. In the Group section, select “UCF Students”. Then, enter your NID username and password. Click OK. Then, click “Accept”. 11. A message at the bottom of your screen will indicate that you are connected to UCF’s virtual private network. 12. Access is not provided for HyperSizer Express. If you open it, you will see an error message. We do not have to worry about using this app. HyperSizer Pro is the app that we will use for this class. Double click on HyperSizer Pro. 13. Once HyperSizer Pro is open, close the “Welcome” window. 14. Go to the “Tools” tab and click on “Set/Modify a License Environment Variable”. 15. In the “License Environment Variable” window, select “Specify a license server”. Then, enter the following information: Server Name/IP Address: Berkeley.cecs.ucf.edu Port # (if any): 27202 Then click OK.

16. You now have access to HyperSizer and can use it for future projects....
