Kanyalkar Cell: 9987 506051 Email: [email protected] , [email protected] Course Objectives & Description In the competitive and complex business environment of today, usage of ERP system has become a necessity. A normal ERP system is used for transaction recording which in turn provides a real time data to take better decisions. Advancements in turns of optimizers and business warehouse tools works as an add-on to further improve the quality of decisions, making the organization more competitive. The objective of this course is to give the participants an understanding of various aspects of an ERP system and its implementation and daily running. At the end of this course the participants will be able to understand managerial complexities of an ERP system. This course will consist of theory, case studies and experience sharing. Initial sessions will provide the necessary theoretical background in a structured way. After this, number of cases will be discussed in the class to make student appreciate the challenges and advantages of an ERP system. Some of the trends in ERP will also be discussed in the class.

Pedagogy This course will be based on the case analysis, discussions and lecture.
