Since Brutus so readily believes what Cassius says, this could either mean that he’s gullible or that he just trusts Cassius enough. 3. What does it mean about Antony that Brutus refuses to kill him? The fact that Brutus refuses to kill Antony either means that Antony will not be a threat and will be powerless once Caesar is gone, or that Antony and Brutus could possibly be siding with each other....
