INTRODUCTION With the advent of computer age, we are now on the 21st Century, Advance Science and Technology have overwhelmed aspects of our lives and even our possibilities of survival are affected. Especially now during GLOBAL PANDEMIC. It is a scary thing, a crisis and how to cope up stress but in other hand people devote more time to family but for some they realized how much they missed them until they were gone. We need to understand how complicated this for all of us. But keep in mind that you are not alone. Things can get better, no matter how afraid, trapped or lonely you feel. Take time to reminisce about the things you enjoy, and keep in mind that it will all pass. For now, all we can do is to think positively in life. Take care of yourself and look after your love ones. HUMANITIES The word HUMANITIES comes from the latin word “HUMANUS” which means human cultured and refined. To be human you have to show qualities like rationality, kindness, tenderness etc. The term Humanities refers to: ARTS  

Such as Architecture, Painting, Music, Sculpture, Dance, Drama, Theater and Literature etc. They are branches of learning concerned with human THOUGHTS, FEELINGS, and RELATIONS. On how they are going to express those feelings have always been a concern of humanities.

HUMANITIES  Interprets answers to life as they emerge from products of human experience (are Religion, Art, Music, Poetry etc.)  Are those Academic Disciplines that study the expressions of human beings, that explore & reveal what it means to be human. - These are Philosophy, Language, Social Science, History, Literature and ART. (that helps people see and understand what it means to be human)  A way of thinking about and responding to the world.  About human beings, their culture and their intellectual achievements  It helps us to connect with the community through Art Like exposure to: 1. Museum Outings 2. Concerts 3. Theater Performance  Stimulates intellectual inquiry and seek answers, to the central questions of the meaning of Human Life serve to provide a certain skills and values through Arts

It is our responsibility to prepare the leaders of tomorrow, and to elevate, protect the Heritage of the Human Experience. the word Art comes from the ancient latin word “ARS” which means a craft or specialized form of skills. is always been a part of man’s growth and civilization. about the history and traditions of different cultures, values and beliefs it was an important means of communication, and a critical way to record important events. the window to our soul (it can be an inspiration)

ART is everywhere. All that we see is an art. When we look around, we see a lot of things that are related to art and it is very important in our lives. It expresses knowledge, feelings, emotions, etc. Example: Paintings – what do you think is the mood, idea or message conveyed in the picture? What did you appreciate about the artwork and why? Every piece of Art, Music, Thoughts were write down continues to move through the time. Today technology is an added source of art. Ideas are created on computers, digital designs and so on. Fine Arts – people use different MEDIA to create these arts, that includes drawing, painting, sculpturing, calligraphy, by using pastel, charcoal, coffee etc. 2. Visual Arts – these types stand in their own. It includes disciplines like a. Photography b. Videography c. Environmental Art d. Animation New Media a. Digital Art b. Contemporary c. Collages d. Conceptual Installation 3. Plastic Arts – how objects can be molded like clay, stone, wood, paper, plaster, metals Example – Parol/Christmas Décor out of plastic from Sprite/Coke/Royal 4. Decorative Arts – refers to functional (but Ornamental) art forms like jewelries, ceramics 5. Performance Arts – refers to Evident Theater Ballets, Operas, plays are all part of the classification 6. Applied Arts – are intended for the use of a career., involve a person adding design elements to functional objects Example – Computer Art, Interior Design, Architecture, Graphic Design and Fashion Design EXAMPLE OF ARTWORKS - Painting, Dance, Weaving, Sculpting, Pottery, Music, Poetry etc. Artworks have different classification, function and purpose.
