Description

I chose an Italian song to discuss called Grande Amore by Il Volo. It is a powerful sounding love song based on the dynamics used. The introduction of the song is only a piano, and the first male singer enters at 14 seconds. There are three different male singers that are in this piece that switch lead roles and sing all together. The tempo of the song speeds up at 55 seconds when the drums are introduced. The dynamics get louder at 1:05 and stay loud throughout the rest of the piece until around 2:05 when it slows back down and gets softer. At around 2:30 it gets louder and the tempo speeds up as well. The texture of this song is a homophony.

This Italian song seems more intense because of the different language and notes. I am very passionate about love like the singers in this piece.
