Description

Lore:  German soldier, but the oldest daughter is getting really close with Vati, the German soldier, is that her father or no?  burning documents (hereditary genes, crimes that he was apart of)  Things are being burnt, the family looks as though they are suffering with their own problems, Vati killed the dog, I can’t take anymore of these movies where German Shepherds get killed  The family is leaving with all of the kids to a safer place, they are German  They are all sleeping in a house outside of the place, Lore starts to sexual over the relationship between the mother and Vati, he domestically abuses her  Lore is the creepy child that tends to watch everything that is going on and is kind of just there,”Heil Hitler” definitely a typical German girl  They kind of live in their own reality away from the war and think everything is magical  Burning Hitler’s pictures, seems to be a scene of symbolism that is happening down here Mutti is the one who is struggling with life and tends to be isolated  Why doesn’t Lore address them as mother and father, aren’t they her mother and father bruises on her legs indicate that she was raped  Mutti is crying because her Führer, Hitler, is dead  Mutti sees life as pathetic now and does not even want to take care of her children  Lore is running, but why, trying to run away from her problems the mother is leaving the children, leaving Lore in charge, is she going to prison because of what her husband did (camp, not a prison), intense scene between the mother and Lore  Lore tries to be brave but says to Peter that in victory there will always be pain  Lore goes to the house in order to buy food, but there is always a boy that stares at them, or the mother as well. Hitler youth, German children steal and therefore Lore wants to be the mother now, but they have to leave because they have nothing  Germany becomes under American control now, the children are on the run, the crimes will be punished for  Lore comes across a girl who has been brutally beaten and raped by someone, she does not know what to do, Lore finds a man inside the house  All the kids are in line to bathe, Lore sees the mysterious man again, sensations and feelings are important in this film, close-ups and the way she touches them, the way she is surrounded with all the people  Lore is seeing a girl get raped in the barricades and isn’t able to stop anything, not really safe around here, the young boy tries to assault Lore  Gives jewelry in exchange for food for his siblings man in the barn that killed himself, the idea of the flies are very evident in the film  The boys are singing to the mother, why? Lore is distraught and she sees the picture of Hitler, Lore starts to get emotional  The kids decided to leave the house because the woman decides to talk about the Führer Lore tries to do what is best for the children  This boy is following her, what the hell for? The boy still follows her when they are walking. German soldiers follow the young girls and ask for her papers, but she does not have any  he covers them and protects them, says that he is their brother
