In movie “the lunchbox” by Ritesh Batra , compares the human life to kitchen. For instance, how a different spice & sweet intensify the flavour of the dish. Similarly, can be said about life. The movie is a realistic depiction of fast pace life in urban cities like Mumbai and the supply chain of Mumbai dabbawalas from picking to delivering hot lunch to one’s workplace. The movie further demonstrates the variety of emotions like seriousness, lonely, depression, frustration, anger, desperation, etc. It is a charming movie of two lonely strangers who connects across the city of billion people through wrong delivery of lunchbox. ILA, a frustrated housewife who prepares a lunchbox for her ignorant husband by adding spices in hope to bring alive their savory romance but unfortunately, the lunchbox lands in the hands of a serious widower man Saajan where the relationship of two slowly starts to develop. They express their feelings and emotions with each other though they’re strangers which shows the healing power of sharing with someone rather than bottling up things inside you....
