Looking at domestic violence from legal standpoint is bad for both victims, and prepators.
Prepators are dehumanized as well as victims.
Prepators being locked and not looked at as products of rape culture solves nothing.
They just end up being looked at beyond “fixing”
One way to fix domestic violence is to fix the culture that creates like work being done in the Latinx culture to change definitions of masculinty.
Another way of helping changing the domestic violence situation in this country is supporting the victims telling there story and not being shamed. Relate to self
Father’s abusive treatment of my mother is due to culture views on masculinity.
