The observe the buying behaviour of the consumer as well as the general trends. By learning what the customer is buying they are able to use that information to create strategies that will help cause more sales. 2.) What are some of the marketing environment challenges for Shoppers Drug Mart in collecting marketing information? Some of the challenges that Shoppers faces when gathering information is customer feedback. When a survey is provided most customers forget to fill it out therefore shoppers is only receiving feedback from a select few. The Pc optimum points system however does help them sometimes to encourage customers to do the surveys. Since sometimes when customers fill out the survey there’s a chance to win points which gives consumers incentive to fill out the survey. 3.) What kinds of roles are there in Shoppers Drug Mart’s marketing information system? There are many roles like the employees who report back what they observe.
