Meditation

Knowledge refers to the information, skills and facts that are acquired through education or experience which can be practical and theoretical in regards to the understanding of a certain subject. Knowledge also refers to the awareness and the familiarity that ne gains from a situation which helps them to maneuver through different situations. The belief of the philosophers is that knowledge is much more of a justified belief. Knowledge is very crucial to what one gets to hold close to them as that is what defines the things that they will be keen to listen to and understand. The first meditation by Rene Descartes refers to the different ways in which he ever captured ideologies which he felt like are not real. The only certainty that Descartes has on attainability of knowledge whereby he believes that knowledge is a form of reason that one is given as a form of native gift[ CITATION Joh84 \l 1033 ]. True knowledge is not the one that one gains from books but also the one that they gather from application of knowledge. Different people have a different understanding of knowledge which is the main idea of how different people have different

Surname 2 reasoning. The reasoning that people have on themselves define the knowledge that they have and in the long run it defines how they will handle the issues at hand.

Descartes refused to believe on the most basic thing as he believes that they do not create a satisfactory understanding. Descartes argument was that no one should settle for the basic understanding without having to reason about them. In the dream he says that he often gets a dream that seem to be real to him whereby he sits by the fire in a room and from the fire he can feel the heat from the fire. The same heat that he feels when he is moving along the way even when there is no fire is the same heat that he feels in his daily life. In his writing he created theories and philosophical matters that people would understand with the least sophistication. The understanding that he had was that everyone has the natural light of reasoning and that creates a background in which they reason. In every ideology that ne funds in the way, they have the right to give it the reasoning that they wish and that will explain the level of their knowledge without much struggle.

Meditation allows one to capture different ideologies around them and have a chance in which they can internalize on the same issues to get a belief and an understanding of their own which can be different under various circumstances. Descartes indicates that years ago he had been struck by the falsehoods that he ever accepted when he was a child yet there is a whole source of doubt in the source of the knowledge that people have believed. In one of the instances

Surname 3 in his life he decided that he would demolish everything that he ever knew in his life and get to learn everything in his life in a fresh way such that he wouldn’t be influenced by the ideologies that came from the latter environment. The demolition that he intended to have was that of the different opinions that he had from other people. In the same case, he had to create a source of certainty on the opinions that had been created in him[ CITATION Fra21 \l 1033 ]. The foundation of all the opinions are the once that determined on whether the belief and principle at hand was right or wrong which was the definite way in which they were supposed to believe in. In this case, knowledge and certainty is established through a foundation which will not be altered even in the future.

The malicious demon of doubt is the doubting that is there where one gets to doubt everything that they hear as they try to get a background in which the beliefs have been built. Cartesian skepticism advocated for beliefs that have been justified through proper reasoning and logic where most of the beliefs are yet to be proven. The three arguments that Descartes use to support the source for knowledge is the spiritual argument, malicious demon argument as well as the dream argument. The malicious demon is the evil demon that have the capability of creating a reason to doubt on the ability to believe in our senses. The knowledge that one gets is only dependent on how well gets to evaluate the information and the fact that they can still reason along the beliefs that they have.

Surname 4 The classic understanding of knowledge is deduced from the books which gives one an understanding of different beliefs that are there in the world. However, if one chooses to reason right, there will be definitely an absolute doubt that comes from the senses and that pushes one to look for the real understanding and the background in which the knowledge is created.
