Memes What are memes really? Memes are picture images and sometimes maybe presented in the form of text to portray ideas, opinions, feelings and communication. There is no specific meaning or definition for memes as some maybe taken personal or subjective. However any meaning of a meme would fall under one or all of the categories mentioned above. Their ideas could be represented by language, emotion, identity, culture, history, memories, community, hobbies, relationships and real life. Sometimes they represent nothing. It is an idea or concept replicate contagiously from one human mind to another. The ideas replicate themselves from brain to brain like a virus. In the internet era or age humanity has spawned a new kind of meme (Technological memes). This is called teme. Teme instead of spreading idea on human minds they live and spread their technologies. Examples of memes: Emojie, The meme cycle Meme Inspiration: The initial source of your idea. Meme Generation: The production of your meme by picture editing or videography Meme Poster: Uploading your meme into platforms such as face book, what sap, YouTube. This is where viewers would start looking at memes. Meme Breakout: Considered as the main crucial stop of the meme cycle. It determines the success and popularity of the memes. Memes get popular when they receive a lot of popular or negative feedback. This will encourage the number of comments, likes and shares to increase and this encourages the spread of the meme.
