Member of the Cadet Unit as a Commander Under Officer before being promoted to Company Commander of Charlie Company: Commander of 4 platoons which consisted of 80 cadets and involved training cadets in survival skills in controlled environments as well as in the field. Sport is a passion of mine and rowing at an elite level as well as competing in netball, swimming, basketball and athletics. My time management, communication and teamwork skills are of an impressive quality due to their necessity to be able to compete at such a high level. Debating and public speaking are activities I have thoroughly enjoyed. My communication and literacy skills have constantly been challenged and improved. I am passionate about supporting those less fortunate than myself, so charity work has always been an interest of mine. I have organised socials, BBQ’s and school events in support of Jeans for Genes day, Footy Colours Day, Farmers Mental Health, Drought Angels and Ronald McDonald House. Organisational skills and resilience were paramount in ensuring these events ran smoothly and made a profit.
