1) What do our descriptive statistics suggest about the symmetry or skewness of this dataset? -The Data suggests that that this seems to be fairly symmetrical with the mean and the median being close together, however, looking at the data this may have a positive skewness. 2)

Do these plots support your conclusion in problem (1)? -Yes, we see that the data is symmetrical and has a skewness in the positive direction when you include the outliers. Do they indicate any outliers in this data set? -Yes, We see in both the dot plot and the box plot that the we have values that are well outside the value of 520.2 which was found using the equation 𝑸𝟑 + 𝟏. 𝟓 ∗ 𝑰𝑸𝑹. (it seems like there are four data points). Histogram of Cycles to Breakage

3) Do these support your symmetry/skewness conclusion? - Yes, the histograms has a positive skewness and is quite symmetrical. Do your histograms give you any reason to suspect multiple modes (subpopulations) in this data? - No, I believe that the date for the most part is unimodal. Which histogram do you prefer?

-

I believe the second histogram best represents our data. Chart of Injury

4) What is the most frequently occurring injury? - The most occurring Injury is the Mensical tear. The least Frequent? - The PCL tear The three most commonly occurring injuries account together for what percent of all injuries? - ACL tear, and MCL tear, and Mensical tear, account for 90.8%. 5) What are some of the key ways in which the manufacturers differ by distribution of self-usage? -Looking at the data the General Mills tends to stack their products fairly evenly between shelves. Using the data Kellogs tends to stack most of their products on shelves 2 and 3, farther away from the flour and more at eye level. The “Other” brands tend to stack their products on shelves 1 and 3.

6) A) which condition appears to produce the greatest growth? The least? -

Treatment 2 appears to produce the most growth in the plants. As we see in the boxplot, treatment 1 seems to stunt the growth of the plant more that the control group. So treatment 1 produces the least amount of growth. Boxplot of count 25

B) What conclusions can you draw about the effectiveness of the six insecticides? - As we can see in the data the insecticides labeled A, B, and F had the highest counts of insects while insecticides C, D, and E seemed to be more effective in killing the insects....
