My Mother Is My Hero Out of everyone who has come in and out of my life, the main person who impacted me the most is my mom. She has inspired me in so many ways. I would not ask for a better role model in my life. My Mom has had a great love and is a woman like no other. She gave me life, nurtured me, taught me, dressed me, fought for me, held me, shouted at me, kissed me, but most importantly she loves me unconditionally. Each time I make a mistake, or what I do, no matter how much I upset my mom, her love for me will never subside. It will always be unconditional. She loved my dad so much that she let him went, worked, and lived far from her. When my dad went to God, I know my mom had lost the one she had loved most. She hurt but she trusts in God’s hand and each time she thinks of him, she prays for him. She also loves me for letting me enter the religious life and fulfill my dream. She sacrifices her time and health for me. My mother traded her youth for my dad and us to have a better life. My mother with nine months and ten days of pregnancy had to endure so much discomfort and hardship until giving birth. With four children, she always had to worry about us and how her children would grow up in good health and get a good education. My mother always worries about me even when I was grown up. When I was still in Vietnam, because I have lived in a religious life, sometimes I went to visit my mother. She often asked me, what I wanted to eat. And my mother made it for me to eat. Now I am living far from my home, she often calls me to ask about my studies. She encourages me, walks with me, and prays for me every day. She is the most selfless person in my life. She always looks out for the best in myself. She is always there for each and every one of us, no matter the problem or situation that arises.

She never gives up, no matter how many mistakes I make. I cannot be more grateful for that. I am so blessed that I came from such a loving, caring, and most importantly selfless person. No matter what, throughout my whole life, she has given me everything in this world and more. She gave me everything that she did not have as a kid, and that is truly heartwarming. We all have someone we admire and want to be just like one day and we all have different opinions about what a true hero is. Who is your hero?
