What was your work background? I had interned in a steel company for 8 months 5. What are some challenges you’ve faced in public speaking and communicating your thoughts to others? - Less confident - Less interactions with audiences 6. How do you hope to use your degree? This degree can bring me more chance to get promotion in workplace. 7. Why did you choose UMB? It’s located in Boston which has a lot of good universities. UMB also has a good college for students who want to study about business. 8. What are some obstacles you have faced since moving to Boston? - Differences in cultures. - It’s hard to get used to a new educational system. 9. What are the most challenging things or unexpected thing from taking classes here? - Differences in study methods. 10. What did you learn enjoy most previous NAV classes? - The professor is very nice and kind. 11. What did you enjoy least? - They required us to prepare for a lot of assignments per week. 12. What do you wish you would have done more of? - Public speaking 13. What do you think Academic communication means? - It is the ways we verbally contact with others in academic situations. 14. How important do you think communication skills are to your success? - It’s very important because communication skills help me to create good relationships with my business partners. 15.
