Pneumo: Prefix pertaining to breathing, respiration, the lungs, or air.

Cyano: A bluish color to the skin or mucous membrane is usually due to a lack of oxygen in the blood

Thorax: The part of the mammalian body situated between the neck and the abdomen and supported by the ribs, costal cartilages, and sternum.

Rhin- A prefix meaning nose\nasal.

Sinu-A prefix meaning sinus or cavity.

Adventitious: coming from an external source or occurring in an unusual place or manner

10. Ventilation: Airflow in the lungs and the atmosphere from carbon dioxide to oxygen in the alveoli. 11. Crepitus: is the abnormal crackling or popping sound that occurs due to internal tissues rubbing together. 12. Rhonchi: usually caused by secretions in bronchial airways are coarse rattling respiratory sounds. 13. Wheezes: is a high-pitched whistling lung sound made while breathing 14. Dyspnea: Difficult or labored breathing 15. Orthopnea: discomfort when breathing while laying down flat; a condition that is common with some types of heart or lung conditions 16. Crackles: are the clicking, rattling, or crackling noises present in one or both lungs 17. Hypoventilation: is shallow or slow respiration. 18. Hyperventilation: is deep and rapid breathing. 19. Tachypnea: rapid respiration 20. Bradypnea: abnormally slow respiration 21. Biots: is an abnormal pattern of breathing characterized by groups of regular deep inspirations 22. Agonal: Distressed Gasping; occurs when one struggles to breathe due to cardiac or other medical distress. 23. Obstructive: blockage of a vessel or passageway 24. Reactive: reference to a response or reaction to disease, injury, condition, or symptom.
