4 (a) If the Foreign court’s Private International Law applies partial renvoi and either (i) (ii)

accepts any ‘remission’ - its domestic law as lex causae accepts any ‘transmission’ - the domestic law of the 3 rd country

(b) If the Foreign court’s Private International Law does not apply partial renvoi, whatever law the foreign court would select as lex causae i.e. the Foreign court’s choice of law rule (so back to 2)...
