I will like this task because I want to help my patients get better, even if I don’t give them the best news. It’s better than telling them they’re okay and they end up on their death bed. One activity is assisting and caring for other. I will be providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customer, or patients. I will be great at this activity and will enjoy it because I love helping others. I am a very kind girl and helping others makes up the beautiful women I am today. B. Some knowledge components that are necessary for this career path includes medicine, dentistry, psychology, customer & personal service, English language, therapy & counseling. Some skills that are needed are active learning, active listening, critical thinking, and social perceptiveness. Some abilities include oral comprehension, deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning, oral expression, and problem sensitivity. I have three skills already that will benefit me for this career path: customer & personal service, active learning, and problem sensitivity. C. In order to pursue my career as a nurse practitioner, I have to get a master’s degree. It’s the most common degree needed. The rest are doctoral degree and post-baccalaureate certificate.

When people are in the medical field, they make a lot of money. Almost everyone I know that’s in the medical field is stable and living their lives, they’re not struggling financially. I. The work styles for this position include integrity, dependability, concern for others, and cooperation. The work values for this position include relationships, achievement, and independence. Work context for this position include telephone, electronic mail, face to face discussions, importance of being exact or accurate, and consequence of error. For work styles, I think that integrity is very important. Especially in the medical field. Patients need to know what’s wrong with them and what doctors can do to help them get better. For work values, I like the relationships part because nurses/doctors can get close to their patients and make them feel comfortable. Once they feel like they’re in a safe space, they’ll trust you. I dislike the telephone portion for work context because I always miss my phone calls when people call me. So that will be a work context I need to work on.
