At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to; a) Demonstrate the different kind of passing techniques in basketball , b) enumerate the different kind of passing techniques in basketball, and; c) Practise passing techniques in an actual gameplay.

Introduction: In playing basketball, it is important to acquire the basic skills such as, Passing, Dribbling, and Shooting for we won’t be able to play or win the game if we don’t have such basic skills . Passing is used by the offensive team to transfer the ball from one player to another, to secure the ball or maybe confuse the defensive team on to whom will the ball land, because they will be chasing after it to gain possession or defend their court from their opponent, who are trying to shoot the ball in order for them to gain scores. It is also important to practise these skills for us to be accurate on passing the ball successfully to our team mates, because one wrong move can make a big change at the game. In this topic, you are about to learn the 4 basic Passing skills in basketball.
