PERFORMANCE CHECK 2

PESTEL ANAYLYSIS in line with online based learning. The Covid-19 pandemic has altered daily life, resulting in widespread disease and mortality, as well as preventative measures such as social isolation, confinement, and school closures. It has struck disproportionately at those who provide essential services and those unable to work remotely. The pandemic has posed a serious challenge to the country's education system. To sustain and provide quality education despite lockdown and community quarantine, the country has implemented proactive policies to continue education. With this sudden shift away from the classroom, some wonder whether the adoption of online learning will be effective and have potential? By using the PESTEL analysis, we will determine whether online learning posed possible opportunities in the institution. Because of the government's major public holdings in higher and basic education, politics significantly impacts the e-learning sector. The government's support for e-learning and expenditure allocations for online learning have a major impact on the flow of education in the higher and basic education sectors. Along with this, with most educational institutions being pressured to move online and to e-learning, the continued debates in parliament about the opening of schools have created much confusion about whether permanent or temporary online frameworks should be established. Economically, people don't all have the financial means to finance e-learning. Due to the pandemic, many people have lost their jobs or had their wages drastically reduced. As student requires access to an electronic device to consume digital content, online learning has a high upfront expense. Nevertheless, this is unlikely to be a concern in developed countries since many students either own or can easily afford electronic devices. Socially, the pandemic allowed people to take additional learning in whatever form they choose. This is a huge opportunity for the e-learning industry to expand its horizons and potentially contribute to a long-term ledge. Technologically, e-learning is now feasible and accessible from anywhere with an internet connection and a smartphone. As individuals become more technologically advanced, this has greatly improved the profitability and popularity of e-learning products. Though in the latter part, access to electronic devices is a major constraint in online education. Electronic devices are not all available to students, particularly in developing countries. Another factor is internet access. The lack of internet access alone will stymie the implementation of online education. With the environmental factor, with the current health issue, the world has become more environmentally conscious. This makes e-learning a much more popular platform for the environmentally friendly. Paper waste will undoubtedly be reduced if more people switched to online learning. Legally, copyright legislation would be crucial when it comes to online learning. Information security is likely to be very relevant. As technology advances, the laws governing cybersecurity would need to be strictly enforced.

Overall, online learning has much potential. The new hybrid model of education will emerge, with significant benefits. The integration of information technology into education will continue to intensify, and online education will finally become an integral component of school education. It has the potential to reform learning by providing students with a more convenient and effective education while also reducing the school's environmental effect and making students and the institution more technologically savvy. Online education, on the other hand, is not without its drawbacks. Politically, the government has significant holdings in higher and basic education. Financially, there is a huge upfront cost. Some technological factors, such as access to electronic devices, can impose limitations on online education cost and institutions must be cautious and mindful of cyber laws....
