Media Storage Are devices that store application and user information 4. Viewfinder a device on a camera showing the field of view of the lens, used in framing and focusing the picture. 5. Shutter a device that opens and closes to expose the film in a camera. 6. Aperture is the unit of measurement that defines the size of the opening in the lens that can be adjusted to control the amount of light reaching the film or digital sensor. 7. F Stop setting determines how much light is allowed to enter the lens and pass through to the film or CCD or CMOS sensor. 8. Exposure Triangle 9. ISO measures the sensitivity of the image sensor. 10. Color Temperature Low color temperature is the warmer, more yellow to red light while high color temperature is the colder, more blue light. 14. Overexposed is a term used to describe the process of exposing film to too much light, which results in the photograph being too bright. 15. Underexposed An image that is brighter than it should be can be considered overexposed. 16. DSLR is a digital camera that combines the optics and the mechanisms of a singlelens reflex camera with a digital imaging sensor, as opposed to photographic film. 17. Sensor is a solid-state device, the part of the camera's hardware that captures light and converts what you see through a viewfinder or LCD monitor into an image. 18. Mirrorless A mirror inside the camera body reflects light coming in through the lens up to a prism and into the viewfinder so you can preview your shot. 19. Reflector is an improvised or specialised reflective surface used to redirect light towards a given subject or scene. 20.
