Program Questions: Why do you want to do the Disney College Program? What are you most looking forward to? What does Disney mean to you? What can you offer the company? What would you look for in a CP applicant? Good candidate for the program? How will the college program help you professionally?

Are you willing to maintain the Disney look? Do you have any tattoos that would be outside of a one piece bathing suit? If so where are they and how big are they? Are you willing to cover them for the program? Do you have any piercings other than the traditional ear piercing? If so are you willing to remove them for the program?

Have you ever been to Disney World/Disneyland? Did you like it and why? Have you ever lived with other people? How did you resolve any issues that came up with your roommates?

Work Related: Do you mind working outside in the Florida heat or inside in cold air conditioning? Would you rather work independently or in a group setting? Would you rather work in a slow or fast-paced environment? How would you handle an emergency? How would you handle a guest who doesn’t speak English but clearly needs help? Do you mind working mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays? How would your coworkers describe you in 3 words? How would you interact with guests? Make a guest’s day? At which park or resort would you prefer to work? (Tip: take a look at the location’s hours, attractions, restaurants, shops, etc. before you make your selection) Give an example of a time you had to deal with a difficult guest? Describe a time where you were put into a challenging situation at work and how you resolved it. How do you handle specific work objectives that have to be completed every shift? Some days at Disney you will be required to work long days, and this will likely become boring. How would you stay attentive to the task?

Would you be willing to assist with crowd control during parades? How do you feel about operating a ride? Are you comfortable memorizing lengthy speeches? Are you comfortable working with heights? How do you feel speaking in front of large groups? Can you memorize and remember long speeches (spiels)?

What would you do if a child wanted to ride Splash Mountain but was too short? If you were doing a task that was repetitive, how do you keep yourself interested in it? Cast members get a behind-the-scenes look at rides and it can run the magic, would this be an issue for you?

Merchandise: If a package of chips costs $1.50 each, and a guest wants 3, and gives you $10, how much change do you give back? What would you do if someone wanted an item and the shop was out of it? What would you do if a guest wanted a specific item that you did not carry anywhere in your park? You will have to be able to pin trade with guests, will you be comfortable with children touching your lanyard and asking to trade? If the phone is ringing, you are checking a guest out, and someone in the store needs help with an item, what do you do first, second, and last? Are you comfortable suggesting items to a guest based on first impressions? Are you willing to work independently outdoors at a cart? Are you comfortable with handling cash?

Custodial: Have you ever had experience cleaning? Are you allergic to any chemicals, cleaning supplies, or latex? Can you handle talking to multiple people and multi-tasking? Can you handle working outside for up to 8 hours a day? Are you willing to bus tables in restaurants and outdoors? Are you comfortable with emptying trash cans and lifting heavy garbage bags?

Quick Service Food and Beverage: Would you be willing to wash dishes or bus tables? Are you comfortable preparing simple food items which may include using a fryer, grill, or other cooking equipment? Are you comfortable selling alcohol? Are you able to multitask? How do you feel about working independently at a food cart? Are you comfortable handling cash and using a cash register? Floral: Do you have any experience in making gift baskets? Would you be able to drive a larger truck? Would you be comfortable with heavy boxes/items?

Seater: Are you willing to spend long periods of time rolling silverware and folding napkins? Are you comfortable handling cash and using a register? What would you tell a guest if they wanted to eat at a restaurant, but there are no tables available for several hours? Have you ever managed a seating chart or are you willing to learn? What qualities should a seater have?

Convention Guide: How would you handle a guest that isn’t involved in an even asking a question, while you were walking with a large group attending the event? Name 3 countries in Epcot What do you know about Illuminations? How would you describe IllumiNations to a guest who has never seen it before

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique/Pirates League: Have you had experience doing make-up and hair? What experience do you have with children? How would you handle a parent or child that did not like the makeup or hairstyle or thought it was too much? How would you react if a little girl was hesitant about getting dressed up or having her hair and make-up done?

Concierge: What do you think the duties of the concierge are? How are you experienced in this role? Do you have any cash handling experience or experience handling large sums of cash? How would you make each guest feel special?

Housekeeping:sale Are you comfortable working with cleaning chemicals or are you allergic to any cleaning products? How do you feel about working in a guest’s room while they are not there? Are you able to work independently with little to no guest contact?

Front Desk: How would you make a guest feel special as they are beginning their Disney vacation? How do you feel about being trained on a computer reservation system? What would you do if you were working the front desk and the guest wanted a non-smoking pool view room and there were none available?

PhotoPass Photography: Are you comfortable with operating digital cameras/heavy equipment? How do you feel about a guest refusing a picture? How do you feel about achieving monthly sales goals and suggesting products? Are you comfortable working in several different parks, potentially all in the same week?

Bell Service Dispatch/Greeter: Are you comfortable talking to guests on the phone? Are you willing to and able carry heavy luggage? Are you comfortable being the first cast member that a guest interacts with on their vacation?

Transportation: Do you have a valid driver’s license? Why do you think transportation is so important at Disney? Are you comfortable talking to other Cast Members via radio? Are you comfortable memorizing and delivering long speeches? Are you willing to help with crowd control during parades? What would you talk about with guests while waiting for transportation? Have you ever dealt with large groups of people at one time? How do you feel about driving large vehicles filled with guests?

How do you keep everyone on board safe? Do you have experience transporting large groups of people? Can you drive/operate a vehicle/boat or ever worked on a system like the monorail?

Children’s Activities: How would you entertain children with no toys? Do you have experience with children? Are you comfortable cleaning up after children? Will you be willing to teach a line dance?

Vacation Planner: What do you think the duties of a vacation planner are? How do you feel about working in multiple parks, potentially all four in a week?
