1994 Poster Competition The School of Technology - Graduate Programs and ASQ 1301 section will organize the 2020 Student Showcase and Workshop on Wednesday, November 4 2020, 9.00am - noon at the campus (socially distanced). This meeting will be live streaming for online participants. The events include: 9.00 - 10.00am 10.00 - 11.00am 11.00 - noon

Preshow-art exhibition Student Poster Competition ($450 cash prize for the winners) Guest Speaker, James Jarrard, Topic: Data Analysis, Project Management and Gamification

The prizes for the 1st place ($200), 2nd ($150); and 3rd ($100). Student(s) are required to attend and present their posters (3 minutes) and be prepared to answer questions to the judges. Posters will be exhibited at University. The 3-5 judges from will evaluate these posters. Instruction 1-3 students can work together to create a poster (size 35” x 43”) for the competition. The topic should be in the areas related to quality management, leadership, problem solving tools, quality tools and techniques, supply chain management, waste reduction, sustainability, technology management, case study, or Lean Six Sigma. These items can be in your poster, but not be limited to:          

Executive Summary or Abstract Introduction/Background of the study Purpose of the study Problem statement, research questions/research hypothesis (if any) Significance of your study Methodology Data analysis/Findings Conclusion Reference (if any) Others graphs, tables and charts should be clear resolution and make your poster visually appealing. • Citations: Be consistent. Citations are done according to APA guidelines. • People enjoy informative, colorful, visually appealing and stimulating posters!
