Project SHIELD (Siguradong Hindi Iiwan Enrollees Laging Damayan) This project is headed by the School Head and Faculty members of Wawa ES In line with Division Memorandum No.54 s.2021 entitled “IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS ON ‘ANAK, KUMUSTA ANG PAG-AARAL?’ (AKAP), THE HOME VISITATION PROGRAM OF SCHOOLS DIVISION OFFICE OF RIZAL”. We came up with a project proposal anchored with Division Office project AKAP. SHIELD aims to strengthen and institutionalize the home visitation program for learners guided by the following protocols: 1. SHIELD program is a team-based intervention; thus group of teachers may home visit a number for learners across grade levels or sections. 2. Focus the home visits to learners who have trouble in coping to distance learning. 3. School heads must conduct virtual consultations with teachers regarding the scheme of the school on home visitations. 4. Inclusion of the home visitation activity as part of teaching tasks must be indicated in the Work Week Plan (WWP) and Individual Workweek

Accomplishment Report (IWAR) for submission to school heads. 5. School heads must ensure regular monitoring of the learners for home visits conducted and submit monthly reading progress report to the suboffice Public Schools District Supervisors for their provision of the immediate and needed technical assistance. 6. Conduct of home visitation must be strictly in well-ventilated areas and open spaces following at least onemeter distance between the teachers and the parents or learners to reduce risk of infection during the conversations. 7. The use of facemask and face shield including lapel microphone while talking to parents and learners is mandatory.

8. The schools must provide additional facemasks to teachers in case learners and parents have no facemasks. This project will be accomplished through the help of our faculty staffs and the support of the students. The target beneficiaries of this project will be the students from Kinder to Grade 6 who are considered: a. SARDO (Students at Risks of Dropping Out) b. Students who frequently take and submit learning kits. c. Students who has difficulty coping up with the current school setting. The budget for this project will be taken from MOOE to defray teacher’s transportation allowance during their home visitation. The project will be over all managed by the School Head and teachers.
