3. The majority of my protein intake is animal based protein. 4. If I lowered my intake of animal protein and increased it with a plant based protein diet It would affect my fat intake because I do eat a lot of red meat and it is high in saturated fat so eating more plant based foods could help lower my chance of cardiovascular disease. A Plant based protein diet incorporates healthy oils, not high processed foods, and is rich in fiber. Having a decent portion of animal products in the diet can have good affects to me personally due to my

anemia I have to eat foods that are high in iron like red meats to keep me from getting sick. Plant protein wouldn’t necessarily give me all of the nutrients I need for my healthy diet but it can help with reducing some of my foods that I eat that are high in carbohydrates rates and saturated fats. 5. By cutting out animal proteins in my diet I can substitute certain animal products or plant based products. An example would be instead of eating chicken Alfredo pasta I can substitute the chicken for mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. For breakfast I can eat tofu and eggs instead of sausage and eggs. As a milk substitute I can drink almond or oat milk instead of drinking whole milk which will still give me the nutrients I need. For dinner instead of eating burgers when I go out to eat I can substitute red meat for Veggie burgers....
