JOB DESCRIPTION Quantitative Analyst Position The Quantitative Analyst is involved in managing and testing an array of data sources for determining and predicting stock price movements. The analyst will work primarily in a MATLAB environment and so MATLAB proficiency is necessary. The quant analyst will work with heavily experienced quant analysts who have made their careers in this type of research and financial analysis for quantitative investment management. For the right individual, this is a unique, one-of-a-kind opportunity. Must have/be: Expertise in MATLAB coding Solid grasp of mathematics (Calculus/ Statistics) Good understanding of statistical methods for optimizations (Linear/ Non-Linear/ Regressions) Extremely hardworking and punctual Fluent in English A Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific discipline, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, among others
