Page 1 QUEZON CITY POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY Chapter 3 RESEARCH METHODOLOGY This chapter contains the research methods used in investigation, the instruments, the sampling techniques, the expected sources of data and the data gathering procedures. It also contains the description of the respondents and treatment of data, data analysis and interpretation of the results. Research Method The researcher used descriptive method research in gathering the data needed for the study to describe and observe the respondents responds to the study. The researchers also used experimental research as a method of gathering data needed for the study, this research method enables the researchers to compare and know the signifcance of the self-learning module to the respondents due to the pre-test and post-test. Population, Sample Size and Sampling Technique In order to fnd and obtain the data needed for the study, the researchers used non-probability sampling method which is purposive sampling.
