In addition, it would not be easy for students to make calls during exams to cheat, but it may be easy for pupils, in a crowded classroom or examination hall, to use their Smartphones to access information online to cheat in exams. The misuse of Smartphones could be using text messages exchanged with other students, finding answers on the Internet, using advanced calculators and phone applications, reading notes saved on their phones to help on the test. Smartphones can encourage bullying and hazing also, which are profoundly serious problems in schools across many countries. Equipped with camera and video technology, Smartphones can be used to record and photograph bullying and hazing in schools and colleges.
