Real Rap with Reynolds

I feel like I have learned a lot of important and valuable tips in the last 13 minutes. I enjoyed watching the video, it was entertaining as much as it was informal. Mr. Reynolds talked about classroom management, he stated for teachers to be prepared. I like this topic, because I’m not prepared for anything. I think it helps me realize that I won’t be able to get very far if I’m not prepared in and out of the classroom. The next point he had was to be consistent, this is an extremely important point because If you cannot be consistent in the classroom then your students will not trust you. The last point he made under classroom management was, relationships are king. This is my favorite point he made in the video, it is so important to talk to your students and get to know them. Let your students get to know you, share information about your life so you can be relatable. Next Mr. Reynolds talked about content, he suggested that teachers think outside of the box. I remember my teachers that thought outside of the box, their lessons stuck with me and actually taught me a lot. He also suggested to allow students to choose what they wanted to do. Choice in the classroom is important, students want to feel like they have a say in what they learn. Teach students based on their interests,
