Let’s Clean Up Our Beaches, Oceans, Lakes and Rivers!!
There are 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic debris in the ocean. 269,00 tons float to the surface and 100,000 marine animals die from humans use of plastic every year. The plastic smells like food once covered in algae which makes the animals eat it. They can also get tangled in plastic items such as nets and bags (One Green Planet, 2018).
