Family She was born in Tuskegee, Alabama. Her parents were James Edwards McCauley and Leona Edwards McCauley. Her younger brother was Sylvester McCauley and he was born on August 20th, 1915. Later on, Rosa Parks and her family moved to Pine Level, Alabama. Rosa Parks husband was Raymond Parks.

Date Death Dat e of Birth and Dea th Rosa Parks was born on February 4th, 1913. She died on October 24th, 2005.

duca Educ ation Rosa Parks was educated in Pine Level, Alabama. After her education at an elementary school, she went to a private school. After she finished private school, she went to Teachers College high school. Rosa Parks could not graduate high school because her grandma fell ill and later, died. When she returned back to high school, she couldn’t complete her studies because her mother became ill, so she took care of the housework and her mother while her brother did work outside. Rosa Parks finally received her high school diploma after marriage.
