How does the service adapt its environment and routines to provide inclusion and support of children?
The service review all the children’s needs based on the enrolment form that parents fill up. Then the service plan on how to create an environment that will cater all the children’s needs.
Suggest how these procedures and/or practices can be made more specific to ensure the inclusion of the child.
For Vincent and some of the kids who are allergic to nuts, the centre has practiced the nut free policy for the food served to the children.
Additional resources or sources of information to assist educators in developing and adapting the service’s curriculum to meet the child’s needs
The management send an email to all staff with information regarding ADHD so we all understand the kids who has it and be able to create more strategies to help them.

MONITORING AND REVIEW Describe the progress of the child Were the strategies in place able to meet the child’s needs and address the learning barriers?
Yes, since the activities were in line with the child’s needs, he is able to participate and achieve the goals little by little.
What is the impact of the strategies to the child? Issues of concern What are the issues and/or difficulties you have encountered during the implementation of the plan? Barriers to implementation What are the barriers that you have or you may encounter while implanting the plan? How will you respond to these barriers?
The kid is still getting distracted so we would take some breaks then go back to the strategies.
The child only goes to the centre 2 to 3 times so we need to adjust the strategies based on the times he goes to the centre I will check the times he goes to the centre and also communicate with his parents for them to also practiced the plan in their house.
Overall effectiveness of the plan Do you think the plan and the strategies in place are effective? Explain your answer. Are there adjustments that should be made to the plan and to the strategies already in place? Explain your answer.
I think the plan needs more improvement in terms of effectiveness. There is progress but it is little. I think we need to consult with specialist and make him review the plan for suggestions and recommendations.
Need for consultation with professionals and/or specialists Based on the child’s progress, is there an urgent need to contact a professional and/or a specialist for consultation and referral? Explain your answer.
There is no urgent need to contact a professional. But we can do a monthly meeting with a professional to check for updates with regards to the improvement of the child.
