Companies like the CDC, FDA, and IOM want to make sure that the human population has a stronger immunity to deadly diseases so that there is a minimal chance of a pandemic. Since this would lower the percentage of people that would contract a disease, children and adults who are not able to receive the vaccines rely on what is know as Herd Immunity or a large population of individuals. Some religious groups find it to be against their religion and rely on who they worship to heal all. Amish communities believe vaccines weaken their immune system and find that not all vaccines to be obligatory.

This does appeal to me because I have children and have also worked in the healthcare field and have personally seen how quickly and easily disease can spread. I believe it is very important to vaccinate our children because it can help prevent the spread of diseases. I would not want to see any of my children laying on their death bed because I chose not to vaccinate, and they contracted a deadly disease. I believe faith is not enough to prevent the contraction of a deadly disease, or any disease for that matter. Science has pulled us out of the dark ages and brought us to an age where medicine and vaccines are key to keeping

What objective evidence is used to support the perspective? Herd immunity has been proven effective towards outbreaks. In 2019, people had been exposed to measles at the University of California. Since they could not find the cause or verify vaccinations, they chose to quarantine. This raised the herd immunity and helped prevent the spread of measles.
