Outcomes/Evaluation The outcome of an sterile field is once the procedure or area is sterile, you will not give the patient no hospital infection.

Potential Complications When a sterile field is opened and exposed for a long time before the procedure, there is chance that the supplies can get contaminated from airborne microbes. If the the supplies or area is left unattended during the procedure, there is a chance the patient is at risk for a hospital infection.
