Under the geocentric model, the Sun, Moon, stars, and planets all orbited Earth. which was created by Claudius Ptolemaeus. And the second image is Johannes Hevelius observing through a telescope, he’s using the instrument to view the stars and observe them. 2. How might these two images be linked to the concept of historical change? ● Both images show the progression of understanding how the solar system works, and astronomy as a whole. And the second image which is Johannes Hevelius observing through a telescope, this image shows the development from estimates and hypotheses to physical instruments that now use to prove the old and new hypothesis true or false. What do these two images tell you about the value that observation adds to the hypothesis? ● The images show that being able to observe the things being studied makes a big difference in accuracy. The geocentric model was not completely wrong, but many factors in the model were inaccurate. But having a telescope gives raw data. Observations are now correct. 4.
