Internet contributes a lot of benefits to the people as it was used for communication wherever the people are. It became source of entertainment and some people make profit from this. Additionally, the internet becomes a gigantic library. There is no doubt that the internet is an essential tool for learning that other schools and universities are offering online education for students. Internet gives easy access for people nowadays but that privilege also gives responsibility. This article gives the people view about how internet contributes in making life improved.

INTRODUCTION Internet seems to be an everything for today’s generation. Everything can be seen on it and much more for having the information by just using the tip of the finger. This article pointed out that internet had changed the world which improve our everyday life with making it easy to deal with researching or knowing the existence of something.

The definition of internet

according to Kwach (2020), is that it connects different computers and users. And today, the internet does more than just connecting computers – it also connects people, lives, stories, and businesses. It is a source of information, a social platform, and a business network. The article tackled about kids getting involved with the internet nowadays. Most of them at a very young age are already into it. Businesses are also growing and spreading all over the internet. Aside from that, is the good thing people can experience, which is a no cost for having information because many sites are offering free stuffs. Several experts can also be seen on the internet. And lastly, the one that is very used nowadays, it’s accommodating online education for students.

BODY The article showed that kids and teens ages 2 to 17 already have computers, with 52% of them are connected to the Internet. A pediatrician, Dr. Ben-Joseph reviewed in her article, teaching kids to be smart about social media, it was mentioned that most teens use some form of social media and have a profile on a social networking site even the kids where parents made social media account for them and later on the kid will learn to use it. Sometimes, internet is used for children to behave or make themselves entertained so they won’t disturb their parents or elders. Next is about the businesses that spreading over the internet. There are sites that caters online customers, which are now exploding. In fact, auction sites are operating with several customers joining the bidding. Consumers mostly take this as beneficial for them since they don’t need to go out outside to buy something. Sources of entertainment started to shift towards the internet which allows entertainment and active interaction to occur simultaneously. Furthermore, the belief of “information is meant to be free” is an increasing in reality. Before the internet, it was very difficult for people to conduct research as they had to read a lot of books. The internet has a wide range of information that any people can access at the convenience of their locations. There are also advice and answer sites that popping up all over the place, with self-proclaimed experts that will accommodate a person with questions. And now, one of the best benefits of the internet is for the students where they can engage in online discussions with other people online and learn from them. Several schools are offering online education just like today due to the pandemic; Philippines are acquiring the same thing.

CONCLUSION By all things that was stated, indeed the internet can do a lot in the future which will go beyond what most people are expecting for it. This article gives a glimpse of what holds the future for the next generation. Internet has changed the way people work, learn, and shop. It has also changed the way people interact with friends, family and lovers, finding entertainment and such which different from what people get used to be. The importance of internet cannot be overestimated just as how the article discussed its contribution in improving people’s life. The people who lived in the information age are fortunate because of the easy access for everything but the power it gave also holds big responsibility. The usage of internet must be used well for it will also pass through from generation to generation just as how it was used today.
