The word "history" is derived from the Greek term "historia," which means "inquiry or research."

Believes that history is a systematic account of a set of natural phenomena which are arranged in their chronological order.

1. How important historical writings are to a person, group/race, and country? Explain in 5 sentences. Answer: Historical writings give us ideas of what was the world in the past. With this information, we can now study and comprehend the origins of our laws, beliefs, ideologies, and identification. Our history was filled with lessons and occurrences that can be used as a basis to improve the status of our country, and to change those inhumane methods/laws that were implemented by our past government. By doing so, it will help us to build a better and brighter present and future for everyone. Therefore, historical writings are significant because it helps us to understand our origin, and it assists us on how to create a healthier and progressive country. 2. Discuss the importance of Historical Analysis in 5 sentences. Answer: Historical analysis is a method of examining facts/evidence for a better comprehension of the occurrence in the past. Historical writings have stories and information that enables the present generation to have connection with the past. Historical analysis plays a major role during the process of studying these historical writings since it helps the readers to fully comprehend the objectives and themes of the writings. The best way to understand its content is through analyzing and evaluating the text. Through historical analysis, the readers can now identify whether the author’s purpose of writing these historical writings was meant to educate, to entertain, or to inspire the readers. 3. How do you give meaning to a so called “History”? Explain in 5 sentences. Answer: For me, history is a compilation of our past decisions. It is a storage of our regrets, disappointments, frustrations, and even satisfactions that happens as we grow older. Those feelings and memories are the footprints that we tend to leave behind while creating a path towards our future. Each memory serves as a lesson where we can learn from our mistakes. With these, I can say that history helps us to come up with some better and wiser decisions in the present that will surely improves ourselves in the future. 4. Explain the difference between Factual History and Speculative History in 5 sentences. Answer: Factual history is a history backed up by facts and legit data determining the truthfulness or authenticity of the historical information. For a history to be considered reliable and true, it must contain accurate information and testified with proof or even some pictures and footage of the event. On the other hand, speculative history is a history that has a questionable source of information. It usually contains fake information that deliberately misinform or deceive the readers. Therefore, factual history is more legal and reliable than the speculative history....
