2. Write a summary of chapters 1-8. Write it using PAST TENSES and LINKERS. First of all Scudder is chased by German spies and decides to ask Hannay for help since he needs a place to hide. Scudder makes clear to Hannay that the spies know that he wants to murder Karolides which comes to London on June 15 th, finally Hannay agrees but Scudder asks him if the plot might continue if something happens to him. The following day, Hannay found Scudder dead. Hannay decides to continue the work but he flees to Scotland milkman's garment to confuse the German spies and with Scudder's book. Although during the trip reads the book and discovers that there was using a secret code, the following day he reads that the police of London have discovered Scudder's body and that they are looking for he, then he decides to go down and to flee but on having looked at the sky he saw a plane and remembers that the spies are looking for he. Due to being chased he goes to an inn where later the spies enter and he manages to escape in a stolen car. Up to now it could not read Scudder's code but finally he deciphers and reads that the Germans want to initiate the World War II. Hannay drove up to realizing that he continued being chased and to the instant it decided to throw to the river with the car, there he finds sir Harry and Hannay tells him his history in order that it should help him. Richard sends a letter to the uncle of Harry to have a meeting before the day of the murder to Karolides. The boy follows his way and the Germans are still behind his, it knows Turnbull and helps him changing the roles to confuse the Germans. Moreover Hannay goes away in search of Jopley a man he knew and they escape in his car but they meet several policemen and once again Richard has to escape for the forest and found a house in which the worst enemy of Scudder lives there encloses it but finally he flees thanks to an explosion of dynamite 3.
