Vershinin explains how everyones talents will be in the majority once more people with talents come. Then life will be beautiful in many years ahead. 80-81 Kuligin, is Mashas husband, who calls himself a brother to the girls, Hes a teacher in a high school. 83 Irina talks about how dreadful work is again. Nathalia enters. They all have moved to the dinning room. Masha wants everyone to get drunk. 84 Fedotik gives Irina a Humming-top. Andrey is the secretary of the local district council, he feels his sister pick on him for his choices, and his wife Masha doesn’t understand him. 88 Masha had an arranged marriage when she was 18. She’s grown used to him. Vershinin complains about his wife and confesses his love to Masha. 89 Irina hates her job at the Telegraph office. Wishes to leave to Moscow. 90 Vershinin and Tuzenbach decide to philosophize on the future of how life will be in 200/300 years. 93 Vershinin has to leave because his wife poisoned herself again. 94 Tuzenbach gives in his resignation 95 Masha gets upset at Natasha for cancelling the entertainers. 97 Soleni confesses his life to Irina, but Irina doesn’t want anything to do with him.

97-98 Natasha asks Irina to move to Olgas room so she can place the baby in her room. Protopopov wants Natasha to go for a ride with him, She goes with him, this might be her cheating on Andrey. Irina doesn’t tell Andrey about Natasha. 99 Irina is taking in everyone’s burdens, she wishes to leave to Moscow. Olga worries over Andrey losing money, and the town is talking about it. Act III 99 The Vershinin’s house is burning down, Olga is being seen as being the mature one giving them clothes and have them stay at their house. 100 Olga sees their nurse Anfisa is ill she tells her to sit down and rest. Natasha enters to spread her bitchness, she yells at Anfisa (80 year old woman) for being seated in her presences and tells her to leave the room. 101 Natasha continues her rant on having Anfisa fired since she cant do anymore work. So is telling Olga that her place is the school and her place is the home so when it comes to servants she knows best. She montions Olga to move downstairs so they don’t quarrel as often. 103 Kuligin, Irina, and Tuzenbach speak about a pianist. Chebutikin breaks an old clock of their mothers and philosophizes his way out 104 Vershinin philosophizes 105 Tuzenbach romancing Irina, summarizing 106 Masha, Irina, and Olga about Andrey and his troubles

107 Olga tells Irina to marry the Baron because he was a decent man. To just marry for wealth and her well being and not love. Irina was waiting to move to Moscow to find her true love. Masha confesses to her sisters about her love over Vershinin. 108 Andrey confronts the girls what they have against him, to respect his wife, respect his profession, and if they could forgive him for him to have mortgaged the house to pay his debt. 109 Irina tells Olga that shell marry the barron but that she wants to go to Moscow. Act IV 109-111 people say goodbye 112 Irina accepts her fate, Kuligin talks some bullshit. Irina mentions her need of Olga but shes too busy with the school. 113 Masha mentions the loss of hopes in their brother Andrey. 114 Andrey confesses to Chebutikin that he doesn’t understand Natashas vulgarity and that he doesn’t love her anymore. 115-116 Tuzenbach and Soleni have set to have a duel for the hand of Irina. Irina tells Tuzenbach that she’ll be faithful to him and be his wife but she won’t be able to love him. Tuzenbach goes to have the duel with Soleni. 119 Vershinin is leaving, philosophizes more bullshit before leaving. 120 Irina says shell be leaving tomorrow. Natasha comes in to be a bitch about everyone leaving. 121-122 The Barron died in the duel with Soleni. The Three sisters have a moment together. End...
